FAMILY GRATEFUL FOR LIAM SUPPORT
Liverpoolfc.tv 16 May 2008
The family of Liam Harker, the teenage Liverpool fan who tragically lost his battle against cancer recently, would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped give the youngster the send off he deserved.
Reds supporters dug deep into their own pockets to help pay for a 6ft by 3ft wreath as a floral tribute at his funeral, that took place in Darlington on Wednesday.

There were over 500 people in attendance with many sporting Liverpool shirts and scarfs while You'll Never Walk Alone was played as a fitting tribute.

The Harkers admit they have been overwhelmed by the generosity shown towards their son and his brave fight and would like to thank everyone who contributed.

If you would have liked to have made a donation, but feel it may be too late, do not worry as you can still do so by sponsoring Liam's father, Reuben, who is climbing Ben Nevis for charity.
